Features vector analysis is a kind of inspection algorithm of AOI system, which is fully used in EKT online aoi equipment. In which the high-precision positioning technology plays a key role.
AOI vector imaging technology uses synthetic images as a teaching reference model to ensure that no errors are made. Vector imaging does not require pixel analysis, it is determined by defining the component shape intersection vector, the vector is determined by direction and tilt. In vector imaging technology, a square is equivalent to four segments, a football is equivalent to two arcs.
Because vector imaging technology uses geometric information, there is no effect on whether the component rotates, gets the graphics, and whether the reference model size is consistent, and it has nothing to do with changes in product color, lighting, and background. This method is more than 10 times more accurate than traditional detection methods. Such as angle measurements up to ±0.02 degrees accuracy , because it can adapt to a variety of different angles, sizes and appearances. So the optical device setting is more simple, even due to camera movement and light source changes caused by focus and illsense changes can maintain the same accuracy in the substrate level. Traditional AOI systems typically require multiple images of the same component, while vector imaging technology can be done with a single measurement. So there is no need to test dozens of boards for fine-tune.
