AOI system is a set of precision machinery, automatic control, optical image processing, software systems and other multi-disciplinary automation equipment. Specifically divided into four precision mechanical drive module, electrical control module, image processing module, software system.
1.Precision Mechanical Systems
AOI precision mechanical system usually has AC servo drive motor, precision ball wire rod, precision linear guide rail and so on. The system-driven software will accurately pass through the motion of these precision machinery, so that the PCB board is transmitted to the CCD and light source for scanning.
2.Automatic Control System
AOI automatic control system usually consists of grating ruler, motion control driver, motion control card, image acquisition card, main control computer, I/O card and so on. and it mainly completes the precision movement of the XYZ shaft and the automatic control vacuum system of the solenoid valve.
The main control computer is the core of the whole system, which realizes the data collection, transmission, analysis and processing of the whole machine, and sends all kinds of instruction control to complete the function of mechanical transmission, image processing and detection. motion control card to complete the XYZ axis motion signal acquisition, transmission of various motion data, action execution instructions and other functions. Image acquisition card is mainly to complete the PCB board image acquisition and transformation.
3. Optical Image System
AOI optical image system CCD usually composed of linear array camera, aggregation lens, halogen or LED light source and image acquisition card. CCD linear array cameras usually have 4 k、8k、12k, depending on the line width of the scanned PCB board. CCD video image signal collected by the linear array camera is transmitted to the image acquisition card, which is collected by the image acquisition card. after processing the video image through the main control computer, the result is returned to the main control program, and the image is observed and compared through the display to achieve the corresponding control.
4.Software systems
AOI software system usually consists of motion control, image processing and algorithm. A user can control the movement of the XYZ axis, image recognition and processing through the window interface. AOI usually algorithms have template matching, DRC design rule checking, CMTS morphology checking.
